Rental Policies

  1. Reservation Policy

    • Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person. A confirmation email will be sent once the booking is finalized.
    • A security deposit is required at the time of reservation. This deposit will be refunded upon safe return of the vehicle, subject to inspection.
  2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

    • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the rental start date will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start date may incur a cancellation fee.
    • No-shows or cancellations after the rental period has begun will not be eligible for a refund.
    • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
  3. Security Deposit Policy

    • A security deposit is mandatory for all rentals and is held to cover potential damages, late fees, or additional charges.
    • The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle type and rental duration.
    • The security deposit is fully refundable, provided the vehicle is returned on time and in good condition.
  4. Fuel Policy

    • Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank.
    • If the car is not returned with a full tank, refueling charges will apply, including a service fee.
  5. Mileage Policy

    • Rental packages may include a daily or overall mileage limit. Additional mileage will be charged per kilometer.
    • Unlimited mileage packages are available for select vehicles; please inquire during booking.
  6. Insurance Policy

    • All vehicles come with basic insurance coverage, which includes third-party liability.
    • Additional insurance options are available, covering damages, theft, and personal accidents.
    • The renter is responsible for any damages not covered by the insurance policy.
  7. Vehicle Usage Policy

    • The vehicle must only be used for personal and leisure purposes, not for commercial activities.
    • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
    • Any violation of local traffic rules or reckless driving will result in penalties.
  8. Breakdown and Emergency Policy

    • In the case of a breakdown, contact Rentex Car Rental’s emergency support line. Do not attempt repairs without authorization.
    • We offer 24/7 roadside assistance within designated areas in Goa. Fees may apply for assistance outside the coverage area.
  9. Late Return Policy

    • Vehicles returned after the agreed rental period will incur late fees. Please notify us if you need an extension to avoid additional charges.
    • Extensions are subject to availability and may require additional payment.
  10. Privacy and Data Policy

    • Rentex Car Rental respects customer privacy and handles personal data in compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Personal information collected during the booking process will be used for rental purposes only and will not be shared without consent.
